Power your Starlink Gen 1, 2, or 3 Standard Terminal with the StarPower V2 by SpaceTek, a robust DC power supply designed for reliable performance with any dependable DC power source.

This power supply is available with multiple connector options, providing flexibility to suit your setup, and offers direct power to your Starlink terminal without the need for the Starlink router.

Engineered for Standard Starlink Terminals

The StarPower V2 is specifically designed to power Gen 1, 2, and 3 Standard Starlink terminals directly from a DC power source. It is not compatible with High Performance, In Motion/Maritime terminals, or the Gen 2 or Gen 3 Starlink routers, making it the perfect choice for users with standard terminal needs.

  • Supports Gen 1, 2, and 3 Standard Terminals: Ideal for powering your Starlink dish directly from 12v source, ensuring compatibility with your setup.
  • Note: Not for High Performance (HP) or In Motion Terminals: This version does not power the high-demand or specialized Starlink terminals, focusing on standard applications only.

⚠️ DO NOT USE THE STARLINK ROUTER: This power supply is designed to connect directly to the WAN input of your own BYO router or WiFi/router, providing a more efficient and reliable setup especially for commercial purposes.

💡 Note Gen 2 Users: Additional Requirements for the SPX Cable.

To use the Gen 2 cable (SPX) with the Starpower, you will also need an Starlink SPX to RJ45 adapter

Otherwise you can modify the SPX cable yourself, however purchasing the adaptor is the preffered option.

Cable Modification Option

The cable modification involves cutting the cable to your preferred length and terminating it with a Cat6 plug (shielded recommended) using T-568B or T-568A Standard, with T-568B recommended for consistency with Starlink. How-To Here!

Flexible Input Voltage and Configuration

This 12V/24V version offers a broad input voltage range from 11-36V DC, with configurable options up to 45-56V DC, providing adaptable power for various setups. It outputs directly to the WAN input port of your router, bypassing the need for the Starlink router and allowing you to use your own networking equipment.

  • Wide Input Voltage Range (11-36V DC): Configurable for higher ranges (45-56V DC) to match your specific power requirements.
  • Direct WAN Output: Connects straight to your own router’s WAN input, ensuring seamless integration without the Starlink router.

Advantages of DC to DC Power Over AC Inverters

Using a DC to DC power supply eliminates the inefficiencies of AC inverters, which convert DC power to AC and back to DC, leading to unnecessary energy loss and reduced performance. This direct approach ensures your Starlink terminal receives clean, stable power, enhancing efficiency and reducing power consumption.

  • Higher Efficiency: DC to DC power avoids the double conversion process, reducing energy loss and improving overall performance.
  • Reduced Energy Consumption: Direct power delivery minimizes power draw, conserving battery life in mobile and off-grid setups.
  • Enhanced Reliability: Provides consistent, uninterrupted power critical for maintaining a stable and reliable internet connection.

Multiple Connection Options

The StarPower V2 is available with a choice of connectors to suit different power configurations, including an Anderson plug, 2.5mm DC jack, or a DC jack with an AC power pack, offering maximum flexibility for your setup.

  • Connector Choices: Available with Anderson Plug, 2.5mm DC Jack, or DC Jack with AC Power Pack for versatile installation options.
  • Ideal for Custom Setups: Tailor the connection type to your specific power environment, enhancing convenience and compatibility.

Additional Power Features and Indicators

This version includes an unregulated DC pass-through via a Phoenix connector, which can be used to power your router directly. It also features a PoE LED indicator to show when the output fuse is functioning correctly, ensuring continuous operation and easy troubleshooting.

  • Unregulated DC Pass-Through: Provides additional power to your router, simplifying power management in your setup.
  • PoE LED Indicator: Monitors the output fuse status, alerting you to any issues for quick resolution.

The dimensions including the mounting tabs are 160 X 100 X 60mm

From the Data socket a standard patch lead can be used, either a T-568B or T-568A terminated cable, there is no need for non standard wiring or cross cables.

Important Notes

⚠️ Voltage Drop Advisory: Starlink terminals are highly sensitive to low voltage. Always ensure your wiring is sized for the expected current draw — insufficient wire gauge or long runs can cause disconnections or damage.

⚠️ Power Source Requirements: A minimum 15A supply is required for stable operation. For best results, a 30A regulated DC source is recommended, especially when powering additional devices or using longer cables.

⚠️ Safety: Always use an inline fuse or circuit breaker rated appropriately for your wire size and power source.
