This DC power cable is designed to supply regulated power to the Starlink Mini terminal from a standard 12V–48V cigarette lighter outlet. It enables direct DC operation without inverters, improving efficiency and reducing system complexity in vehicle and portable installations.

💡Please Note: In most cases this 12v power cable will be more than adequate for powering the Starlink Mini. In some specialised DC setups, our voltage booster/regulator may be required. If you are uncertain, we would reccomend upgrading to the voltage booster/regulator as it will solve and cater for 95%+ of requirements to power the Starlink Mini on DC power.

Key Features

✅ Wide Input Voltage Support (12V–48V) - Accepts a broad DC input range for compatibility with automotive, marine, and auxiliary battery systems.

✅ Cigarette Lighter Plug Interface - Standard automotive plug for rapid connection to existing vehicle or portable power sockets.

✅ 3 Metre Cable Length - Allows flexible routing within cabins, equipment bays, or portable setups.

✅ Insulated and Strain-Relieved Construction - Reduces risk of conductor fatigue and accidental disconnection during use.

Installation Overview

  1. Ensure the vehicle or power system socket supplies DC voltage within the specified 12V–48V range.

  2. Insert the cigarette lighter plug fully into the power outlet.

  3. Route the cable to the Starlink Mini, avoiding sharp edges, heat sources, and moving components.

  4. Connect the DC output plug to the Starlink Mini power port.

  5. Secure the cable using appropriate clips or ties to provide strain relief.

  6. Power on the Starlink Mini and verify stable operation.

Important Notes

⚠️ Do not exceed the specified input voltage range.
⚠️ Route cables to avoid abrasion, pinch points, and excessive bend radius.
⚠️ Spacetek is not liable for damage caused by improper electrical installation or non-compliant routing.
